Our Super Fun Trip to Disneyland

This is the classic Disneyland picture(except that none of us are in front of the fence).
This is Kaitlyn on the tram to Disneyland... practicing her "Cheese" smile. She was soooooo excited to come to Disneyland. She's been asking for weeks to go. So, we get there and decide to go to California Adventure. She is super excited to get the stroller. Then we went to Monsters Inc. And then quickly left...and then went to Bugs Life Land...and then quickly left...and then went to disneyland...and quickly left with our sad sad daughter Kaitlyn who had to spend a few hours at Disneyland today. I guess she had something better in mind.
First stop...Monsters inc. She wouldn't go into the ride. So we took a pic outside. She's still not sure.
This is Kaitlyn in the car outside of Monsters Inc. She looks so silly. This was the last time she left her stroller until we made it to the Pooh ride(on the opposite end of Disneyland). Then she cried until it was over and she was back in the stroller with some ice cream.
And this...well this...is one of my pretty pictures that I took today. Ain't it pretty. Too bad it's a fake waterfall.
So to sum it up. Elbert and I paid $12 for a stroller and took kaitlyn on a 2 hour walk around disneyland( We did make a quick stop at the candy store on Main Street). So at least we burned some calories. Maybe we'll have better luck next time.

Kaitlyn's FIRST Haircut

So, Even though Kaitlyn will be 3 in September, she has never had a haircut(which she calls a hot cot). Her hair is about 5 inches longer on the right side than on the left. I have been waiting for the other side to catch up, but it's not happening. So...today was the day. I needed a hair cut and Aunt Michelle and Grandma got hair cuts too. And Kaitlyn got to watch Daddy get one yesterday too. It's so much better now.
This is the before shot.
This is the after. She was practicing her "sad sad" face. She does a pretty good one, huh.

Daddy's Little Girl

Kaitlyn got to go out and run with Daddy at his softball game. She thought it was the greatest thing ever. She tried to slide across the pitchers mount about 30 seconds after she got out on the field. So funny.

It's Potty Time!

Kaitlyn is trying to use the potty. She sat on it for about 7 minutes and then got up and peed on the floor. Fun Times. Maybe she's not quite ready.

Happy Easter

Kaitlyn with her cousins Josh and Jasmine...after they hunted for eggs.

Kaitlyn and Daddy! Check Elbert out, he's lost 25 lbs...I'm so proud of him.Kaitlyn showing off her goods...You should have seen her face when she found out that there was chocolate inside the eggs. It was awesome. I'll post the video hopefully soon. Happy Easter!

Kaitlyn's Easter Dress...So Pretty!

I was trying to get Kaitlyn to pose for the camera. It kind of worked. I love the one of her laying on the grass. She looked super cute today!

Easter Eggs!!

This was Kaitlyn's first time making easter eggs. These pics are from finish to start. This one is how they turned out...
Halfway through...
3 down...
And the very beginning...white eggs, cups of color, and a cheesy grin. FUN FUN...
Kaitlyn was so excited. She kept dropping(I mean tossing) the eggs into the cups. Most of the eggs had dents when we were done. Aunt Michelle and Uncle Rob came over to help. Happy Easter Eve!

Softball Season

Elbert plays on a softball team with some guys from the ward. Kaitlyn thinks it's super fun to go and run around with all the kids. This pic is of (from left to right) Phoebe, Abby, Ashlin, Avery, and Kaitlyn. So much fun!!

Sneaky Kaitlyn

While I was in the bathroom this morning, Kaitlyn decided to go in her "Harry Potter closet" under our stairs and climb on her toy dresser. She did manage to close the curtain first so that I could not see her. Then she yelled my name and waited for me to find her. What a silly girl. She was practicing her climbing skills today. What a great climber!

My Man...in Uniform

Elbert had to wear his "blues" when he was at the base on Monday. Doesn't he look fancy!(almost as fancy as Kaitlyn's hair!!) We had to take this cute picture to celebrate him being home after 4 days away.
