Ringing in the new year 2009

This year for New Years we made a big dinner and then had some snacks(like fondue, above) around midnight. We spent it with family and celebrated Michelle's birthday at midnight. We watched Step Brothers, which was pretty funny. Kaitlyn discovered that portable DVD players mean being able to watch her own movie whenever she wants. She was so excited. Fun times. Happy New Year everyone!!

LA Zoo here we come

Kaitlyn loves the zoo. She loves to look at all of the animals. She laughed at each one and got so excited. So cute. We had a good time and got a little bit of exercise.
The lions were having a nap. They sleep just like our cats used to...upside down.

Jen's Birthday

This year I turned 32. YEAH!! We went to dinner and had my favorite cake, strawberries and whip cream with white cake. MMM MMM. Thanks to everyone that wished me well this year.

Christmas Day!

This year we had a busy Christmas. Mike and Naomi were here with their dog, Sam. Emily and Buzz were here with Carter and their dog, Toby. Michelle and Rob were in town too. The whole family. We spent the morning opening presents and the afternoon with Elbert's side of the family and then back for another dinner at my parents house with the family and Naomi's mom, dad, sister, and step-mom. It was a long day, but lots of fun. We only got a few pics. Here they are.
