Kona here we come!

I just got off the phone to book our hotel for our upcoming trip to Kona, Hawaii. We went there in Jan 2006 and again in October 2007. We love it there. This is the view from the room that we had the last time. We could even see the Kona temple from our balcony. So cool! The other pics are some of my favorite sunset pics from the last time we were there. 7 months and counting.

MMMM...It's a pink chocolate covered rice crispy treat on a stick

I made these at our Valentine's Day Enrichment activity and Kaitlyn thought it was a popsicle and was trying to lick it. It was so funny!!

Jen Can Sew!

Before Kaitlyn was born Michelle helped me make a valance, crib bumpers, and a bed skirt out of this super cute hawaiian fabric. Since she has now moved into a big girl bed, I decided to make her a duvet cover with the same fabric and some cute green polk-a-dot fabric. It has chenile on the back, so it's super soft. Kaitlyn loves it and was happy to pose for a pic on her new blanket.

The Rain is Here

It has been super rainy here for the last few days. Kaitlyn has perfected the art of holding the umbrella and walking at the same time. YEAH for that. Check out her super cute raincoat. It has giraffes on it. She loves it. We are so glad to have the rain.

California Roll

The time before this picture that we got Japanese food, I got Kaitlyn yaki soba(noodles) and I got a California Roll. She didn't want any of her noodles, she said she wanted my California Roll. I gave her one and she ate the whole thing in about 1 minute. Then she ate 2 more. So...the next time we got Japanese I got her her very own California Roll. She LOVED it. She ate 4 of them.

Kaitlyn's First Pinkberry!

This was Kaitlyn's first Pinkberry frozen yogurt. She got chocolate(chaulky) chips on top. She loved it. What a big girl.
