Welcome Emma Louise!

Emma and Grandma.

We wanted to be the first to welcome Michelle and Rob's daughter Emma to the world. She was born last night(7/11) at 9:08. She weighed in at 6lbs. 9 oz. and 19 inches long. We love that she was born on 7-11. She will be able to get a free slurpee on her birthday every year. What a treat! Congrats Gibbs', she's so cute!

Em and Buzz came up last night to see the new baby. Kaitlyn and Carter got to play a little bit.

Fireworks!

I took these with our new camera. It's pretty awesome!

Fourth of July!

Michelle and Rob, awaiting the birth of their baby...luckily the fireworks didn't scare Emma out!

Kaitlyn was trying to steal a cookie.

After the first practice fireworks, Kaitlyn hit the deck...she said she was hiding.

Then when the real fireworks came she jumped in my lap and covered my eyes and said "Mommy, no yook(look), it's scare scare". But then, she looked at the fireworks when she was covering my eyes. How sweet she is to protect her mommy from the scary fireworks.

This look pretty much sums up the night. Maybe next year she will like them a little bit more.
