First Time Alert!!!

Today Kaitlyn pooped on the toilet for the very first time. We are so proud of her. And just now when I was typing this post, she pooped in the diaper again. 1:1 is better than 0:2, right. Just checking.

For those of you that remember the previous post about Disneyland, this trip was a lot better. She only cried in line for It's a Small World. YEAH for that.

Park Day

Kaitlyn loves to swing. It's her most favorite thing ever.
Even in the "Baby" swing. Kaitlyn and Derek had a fun time swinging here too.

Dad's Camera Box

Elbert got a new camera last week...It's a Nikon D90 for those of you that know cameras. Kaitlyn doesn't really care about the camera, but she did like the box that it came in. It takes pretty good pics huh. This was my first try with the new camera. It's pretty sweet!

Go Rockers!!

Elbert's softball team, The Rockers, won the championship game last night. They won by 5 runs. Congrats! Rumor has it that they get bragging rights and get to walk in the Montrose Christmas Parade. I'm not sure if that's a reward or a punishment...I'm just saying.
This is the players with their kids...the games are super fun and sometimes hard to watch cuz you have to keep track of all the kids.
I had to put this one in. Kaitlyn got a great surprise when Corbin showed up. She loves to play with him. They took a quick break to read some books. I'll save this one for when they turn 11 and think the other one has coodies.

Kaitlyn's First Dodger Game(This Season)

So, tonight we went to the Dodger Game with my parents and Michelle. It was our first one this season. We have gone each season since she was born. (Side Note: She actually went to Dodger Stadium when she was only 2 months old to have lunch with Tommy Lasorda. Now, how many people can say that.) When I was pregnant with her she would kick me when they played the "charge" on the organ. A true Dodger fan from the beginning. Luckily, Kaitlyn's Dodger cheerleader dress that her Aunt Paula gave her still fits this season. That first pic reminds me why I don't ever wear hats...but it was so sunny today. This was Kaitlyn's first Dodger Dog!! She ate a few bites and was done with it and back to the french fries. What a surprise.

Here we are about the third inning. Kaitlyn was switching seats about every 3 minutes. And then she noticed a bird sitting on the wire above our seats. That entertained her for about 20 minutes. Then the beach ball came around. She really liked that.

And then she made fishy faces with Aunt Michelle.

Kaitlyn and Jane

MMMM...chocolate donut with coconut. This is Kaitlyn in Jane's backyard. She likes their backyard better than the park I think. Yeah for that. I like it better than the park too, there is more shade... and a chair... and a bathroom...
This is Kaitlyn's friend Jane(She is the daughter of my friend Lisa). They have fun together. Jane is super sneaky(like in this picture). Kaitlyn is totally envious of her sneaking skills. FYI...Jane ate 3 donuts while we were there. That's pretty impressive.

This weekend my brother, Mike, and his wife, Naomi, came and my sister, Emily, came with her son and her husband, Buzz. This is such a funny picture. Kaitlyn has all of the babies and Carter's hands are behind his back like he's hiding something. They were so funny together.
SO...Kaitlyn and Carter took a bath or two together. So cute.
Another "uh we're not doing anything bad" look. Fun in the tub!
They jumped on Kaitlyn's bed at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
Then they went under the bed and laughed...a lot.
Then Carter pushed Kaitlyn in her doll stroller. They thought it was the funniest thing ever. They took turns pushing each other. I got it on video...to be posted soon.
Overall, it was a super fun weekend. Kaitlyn and Carter played together so well. They really loved playing with each other. They'll be back next weekend. Can't wait.
